Ryan T. Warden is a Shareholder in Ogletree’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Morristown, New Jersey offices. He represents employers across a wide array of industries, ranging from small, family-owned businesses to members of the Fortune 500. He has served as lead litigation counsel to some of the most recognizable companies in the world. While Mr. Warden has extensive experience defending claims alleging discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, his practice focuses on the defense of employers against wage and hour, wage payment, and prevailing wage claims, including those asserted in class and/or collective actions. Mr. Warden has also represented employers in connection with countless compliance investigations by state and federal departments of labor. Due to his encyclopedic knowledge of wage laws and his extensive experience with the agencies administering them, he is uniquely suited to guide his clients through this often-unfamiliar process. In addition to his litigation and government investigations practices, Mr. Warden provides advice and counsel to his clients with a view toward preventing problems before they arise. Mr. Warden frequently counsels clients on employment law issues and partners with clients in the development of compliant policies and procedures, including arbitration agreements.

New Jersey High Court Updates State’s Arbitration Case Law to Reflect Modern Business Practice (09/08/20)
On August 18, 2020 the Supreme Court of New Jersey upheld the enforceability of an employment arbitration agreement by validating employer distribution of mandatory arbitration agreements, confirming that employees may manifest their assent by remaining employed after the effective date specified in the agreements.
