Jim began mediating in 1983 and was the first President and Executive Director of the Oregon Mediation Association. Jim then served for 6 years as Executive Director of the Academy of Family Mediators (1987-93) and then co-founded with John Helie in 1995. Jim has been CEO of ever since.
