Description of Practice

Victoria Morgan is a certified mediator working with families in crisis since 2004. As a Virginia Supreme Court Certified Mediator in Juvenile and Domestic District Courts, Ms. Morgan assists parties in their decision making regarding custody, visitation, child support and spousal support issues. In addition, she works with married couples regarding separation and divorce issues regarding equitable distribution. She has mediated cases in Central Virginia, Richmond Metro area, Hampton Roads area and the Eastern Shore of Virginia where she was president of the Eastern Shore Mediation Service. In addition, she is certified in Virginia General District Court to settle claims. Ms. Morgan is a mentor for J&DR Court and offers training.

Professional Background

Ms. Morgan's professional background in addition to certification in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court includes general mediation training, circuit court mediation training and domestic violence awareness. Ms. Morgan served as President of the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence for three years. She also has training in Co-Parenting and has Mentor Status.


Victoria Morgan has 17 years of mediation experience in both family and general areas. In addition, Ms. Morgan worked as a paralegal in law firms for 20 years prior to beginning her career in mediation and through her work as a paralegal became versed in divorce and family law.

Due to Ms. Morgan's own life experiences and her mediation experience she stresses to her clients that the most important person is not the people in the mediation conference but the ones that are not there THE CHILDREN. Ms. Morgan believes the clients need to look at their situation not only through their eyes but through the eyes of their children whose world is being turned upside down.


Free initial consultation. Fees include mediation session(s), telephone conferences (after initial consultation)and preparation of documents. The fee is usually split between the parties unless other arrangements are made. Fees are determined on a cases-to-case basis and paid at the time of the mediation session.
