Description of Practice

I am a family and divorce mediator with over 10 years of mediation experience. I offer those undergoing a divorce a comfortable setting to discuss and resolve the parenting and financial issues which need to be decided before legally divorcing in New York. Will this make divorce easy? No ! But what it will do, is provide a reasonable way through a difficult time.
Professional Background
I worked in the NYC Family Court as a Mediation Manager of the Custody Visitation Mediation Program. In addition to currently mediating private divorce and family cases, I serve on the NYC Family Court Custody and Visitation Panel as a Consultant Mediator.
Experience
I have over 250 hours of experience mediating family and divorce cases.
Degrees
I am a graduate of McGill University (BA), University of Toronto (MA) and Creighton University School of Law where I obtained a Master's Degree in Dispute Resolution and Negotiation.

Approach
I provide a collaborative environment where open and frank discussion of issues and concerns is encouraged. From a standpoint of neutrality, I will help you address and resolve the financial and parenting matters which must be decided as you go forward. We will work at considering options and finding solutions that you both agree to and are comfortable with, even if at first glance none appear to exist.
