Description of Practice
Professionally involved in interpersonal communications for 38 years, Nan is a founding partner and Director of the Family Division of Dispute Resolution Professionals, LLC.
DRP provides multidisciplinary ADR services in both the private and public sector. DRP's mediators work in the federal, state, and local government disputes, as well as in environmental, civil, commercial and family arenas.
Professional Background
Nan is considered a national expert in high conflict family systems and has mediated protracted familial disputes in 19 states. A large part of her cases are high conflict post decree divorce. Forty percent of her caseload is federal mediation, and she specializes in the areas of employment, EEOC, ADA, and workplace violence, hostile work environment, public dialoging, healthcare disputes, crisis management, post-traumatic stress disorder, and critical incident debriefing. Nan has worked for 7 federal agencies throughout the western United States and has also provided trainings in the area of conflict management, workplace violence and emotional intelligence. She conducted grievance mediation for United Airlines for 25 years. Nan has trained ADR professionals nationally and internationally and has mediated over 3000 cases.

Approach
An eclectic mediator, Nan mediates under a tranformative framework, with a facilitative approach to mediation. In high conflict cases, she uses a more direct and evaluative approach.

Fees
$125.00 per party per hour; or in multiparty disputes $250.00 per hour.
Other Information
In 2004, she designed and remains the lead facilitator for the Rocky Mountain Retreat, teaching holistic and reflective practice to judges, lawyers, mediators, conflict practitioners and peace-builders from over 21 countries and 45 states.
Nan co-authored and has taught the co-parenting education seminar “In the Best Interest of the Children” for 15 years. She authored and developed the level two high conflict classes “Growing through Conflict” in 2001, and has served thousands of bi-nuclear families statewide and in metro Denver.
