Description of Practice
Mediation is a style of communication in which the mediator facilitates dialogue which can allow you and your concerns to be heard.
Mediation is a process of self-determination. This means that you have great input in the process, and will grow and be empowered throughout the process.
It is generally assumed that divorce is the most challenging example of mediation, as it is the breakup of a most intimate relationship, and often has many related considerations including children and assets. With CARE-Mediation you will experience a process that strives to set you in a good position to put your best foot forward to a beautiful life ahead.
Interestingly, we recognize that particularly when there are children, even after divorce the family will continue to interact. We therefore are especially sensitive to life after the divorce. We strive for better outcomes by emphasizing long term planning and communication facilitation and strategies.
