I have spent the last 35+ years as a lawyer representing business clients and resolving legal disputes. As a former partner at Holland & Knight LLP and in my practice at Shuham & Shuham, P.A., I have represented South Florida and national businesses in many industries including commercial leasing, property development and management, hospitality, technology, home building and development, and construction. I also serve as outside general counsel to businesses in these areas. In addition to my legal career, I have been active in the community in leadership roles in numerous organizations. I served as the 2019 President of the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and continue to serve on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. I also served as a member of the City of Hollywood Community Development Advisory Board from 2015-2021, and as Chair of the Board from 2018-2020. I am a past member of the Board of Directors of the Broward Public Library Foundation, having served as Chair of the Board from 2016-2018. I was on the Board of Directors of the Leadership Broward Foundation from 2007–2014.
