Description of Practice

Karen Rice, LNHA has focused on quality of care and quality of life for dementia since 1991. She has provided mediation and dementia care management services to carers of Alzheimer's since 1994. Today, she specializes in Family Caregiver Mediation and features a webcast mediation option for distance caregivers. She also offers training in Empathic Communication, Cultural Sensitivity, Conflict Management skills, Mediation, Negotiation, Facilitation and other special topics.

Her private practice is in Scottsdale, AZ and a satellite for webcast services is in Kent, OH.

Karen is a contract mediator for the CMS Quality of Care Mediation Initiative through KePro QIO and is Adjunct Online Graduate Faculty at Grand Canyon University.
