Dr. J Michael Schneider MD MS-ADR, is a board certified neurosurgeon with several academic appointments during his 30 year medical career. Dr. Schneider’s earned a Master’s Degree from Creighton University School of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Dr. Schneider has extensive experience as an impartial facilitator in dispute resolution working with counsel, risk management and human resources in Healthcare Institutions. Dr Schneider is a full time Facilitator, Mediator and Arbitrator involved with Healthcare related complaints, contract disputes and tort claims. His unique perspective assures the litigation teams avoid costly mistakes during liability prosecution, medical board actions and he is adept at resolving insurmountable conflicts between competitive and adverse healthcare professionals. As a medical subject matter expert co-mediator and co-arbitrator he is invaluable to litigation management. Dr Schneider takes pride in settling disputes between physician partners, provider – hospital administrators and plaintiff claimants. He is recognized for his invaluable work as an independent analysis in mediation and arbitration, facilitating expeditious resolution using ADR techniques. Dr. Schneider is a nationally recognized orator, providing discourse on topics ranging from liability risk mitigation, Provider communication expectations and the role of alternative dispute resolution in Healthcare.
