Darren K. Oglesby has been an attorney at Wilder Mahood McKinley & Oglesby since 2003, and a partner of the firm since 2012. Along with attorneys for the firm, he is an author of “Family Law Practice and Procedure,” the leading treatise on Pennsylvania family law. He is also the author of “Valuing Stock Options in the Marital Context,” an article written for the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. In response to increasing demand, Mr. Oglesby most recently completed mediator certification training and looks forward to helping clients mediate divorce, family, and economic matters.

He obtained a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to teaching, Mr. Oglesby was an Account Executive for British Petroleum. During his tenure with BP he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude. Mr. Oglesby obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude in 1989.

Mr. Oglesby’s law school credits include serving on Law Review, the Clark County Moot Court Competition, and awards for the highest class ranking in over a third of his law school courses. He was an active member of the Public Interest Law Association and the Boyd School of Law Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, and served as a CASA volunteer.
