Haas Mediation & Conflict Coaching Services LLC
Description of Practice
I'd love to hear more about the conflict you're facing. Conflict takes a toll on all of us. Through mediation, you can find positive change. I support my clients in transforming their conflict interactions with others into ones of mutual understanding, clarity, & resolution. I am actively mediating on Zoom making mediation easy and accessible. Kindly find my phone number and email below. Thanks!
I first entered the field of mediation through graduate studies at Columbia University in Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding. During this time, I joined Community Mediation Services where I gained extensive experience through mediating high conflict disputes within Queens and the Bronx. To this day, I mediate cases with the center pro-bono and feel deep gratitude for the expert training I received there. I now engage with Mediators Beyond Borders, ACR-GNY, and co-facilitate mediation apprenticeships.
I come from a long background in facilitating education in international conflict zones and urban settings and formerly helped to provide technical assistance and consulting to non-profits. My practice focuses on providing well-informed support to clients from a place of empathy and understanding.

My approach focuses on transforming negative conflict interactions by empowering people to be mutually heard and fully express where they're coming from. I do not tell people what to do and maintain 100% neutrality at all times. Instead, I support people making their own decisions with greater clarity and confidence. I see mediation as an opportunity to understand both the other person and oneself more clearly and in the process seek positive change.
I work on a sliding scale based on income/need. Email or call me to learn more. I believe in finding a rate that is fair and accessible.
