Approach

My approach to dispute resolution is to think outside of the box and assist the parties to find unique perspectives and solutions to their conflict. The goal regardless of the outcome of the mediation is to have a meaningful mediation. That means that each party will in the end leave the mediation with at least some new knowledge, better perspective, and an understanding of the other side's position. From the outset, the participants are provided with an atmosphere to promote a meaningful dialogue that is based on mindfulness negotiation techniques that put a priority on communication, empathy, and respect.
