Rachel has been a registered mediator with the State of Georgia since 2010. She is trained and certified in civil, domestic relations, domestic violence, dependency (formerly "deprivation") and delinquency ("juvenile") mediation. She has served as a mediator in domestic relations, domestic violence, civil, and dependency cases. She has also arbitrated divorce and custody issues.

Please see attached CV. Rachel is a founding partner at Elovitz Edwards O'Nan & Buerlein, LLC. She has been practicing family law for 23 years. She has served as a Guardian ad Litem (representing the best interests of children) since 2001. She regularly mediates divorce cases (inlcuding those with domestic violence histories) and custody cases (original and modification). She has also mediated contract, personal injury, and child dependency cases. Rachel has also arbitrated divorce and custody issues.


Rachel has been hired privately to mediate cases across the metro Atlanta area. She is also a neutral for the Fulton County Alternate Dispute Resolution Program (since 2012) and a neutral for the DeKalb County Dispute Resolution Center (2011 - Present).


Rachel received her Juris Doctorate in 1995, Magna Cum Laude, from JMLS in Atlanta. Rachel received her BA in Psychology / Minor in Philosophy from the University of Texas in 1988.
