Description of Practice

Mr. White is an attorney with over two decades of experience in contract, insurance and other commercial matters, as well as in personal injury, professional errors and omissions and professional malpractice. Mr. White is also experienced in large-scale products liability and negligence cases, particularly in situations where the alleged wrongdoing affects multiple customers or otherwise implicates a company’s overall way of doing business. Mr. White began mediating cases as a court-appointed mediator with the District of Columbia Superior Court. He is now on the mediator roster for the Circuit Mediation Program for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Mr. White is trained in mediation of both civil matters and divorce matters. Mr. White is fluent in Spanish.

Approach

Mr. White mediates disputes with a facilitative approach. In civil matters, Mr. White uses his experience as a litigator to assist the parties to evaluate their case realistically. In divorce mediation, Mr. White still applies a facilitative approach, but with greater emphasis on creating an environment for the divorcing couple to determine their own futures.
