Description of Practice

Benjamin S. Reccius was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he currently lives and practices. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his Juris Doctor and Certificates in Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law Practice from Pepperdine University School of Law. Reccius Law strongly believes that, in certain circumstances, the best fight is the one that never happens. Benjamin holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the #1 ranked Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law where he was part of the mediation clinic. To this day, Benjamin remains active with the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) and the California Academy of Mediation Professionals (CAMP) with whom he has conducted hundreds of mediations in Superior Court matters ranging from small claims to unlawful detainer (evictions). Reccius Law strives to fly in the face of negative stereotypes about attorneys. Saddened and disappointed by comparisons of lawyers to leeches, we provide value through intense investigation and preparation targeting specific client interests. The importance of a returned phone call or e-mail is not lost on us; we will never leave you hanging, and will not stop until the job is done right! If you have a conflict, mediation--and not another lawsuit--might be your best choice.
