Description of Practice
Toynia is a State of Kansas approved domestic/core mediator who specializes in helping clients prepare parenting plans which allow them and their children to thrive in their co-parenting arrangement.
Toynia obtained a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and a post-baccalaureate Minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies from Kansas State University. In addition, she completed 40 hours training from Missouri State University in civil and family mediation. Additional pursuits include conflict coaching in both the CINERGY Model developed by Cinnie Noble and with Tricia Jones and facilitation training through the Institute for Civic Discourse and Deliberation at Kansas State University. Special training from the Association of Missouri Mediators and Heartland Mediators includes Kenneth Cloke’s Crossroads of Conflict, Focus on Children of Divorce and Separation, Mediating with Military Families and Family and Finances in Troubled Populations. Her undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Accounting.
Toynia helps clients put their children first in their plans to co-parent while helping them also focus on their personal needs as well in recognition that the best parenting occurs when all family members' needs are met.

Toynia is retired from a 34 year career in governmental administration and was most recently an internal auditor for nearly 20 years obtaining both the Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Government Auditing Professional designations. Toynia was a military wife throughout her husband's career and they currently operate a small meat goat farm.
