MA’AT Mediation and Arbitration Services offers an innovative approach to employment and labor laws seeking resolutions during the dispute process between the Complainant and Respondent. Our Mediators are professional and have more than nineteen (19) years of experience including more than 6,000 cases mediated with a success rate of eighty (80) percent. The Mediators are highly skilled at negotiations and bargaining with each party in order to get the facts on the table and discussed for a full understanding of the dispute. I have been in private practice since January 1, 2017, upon retiring from the U. S. Equal Employment Commission (EEOC) after more than thirty-five (35) years of service. Prior to my retirement, I served as the lead Mediator in the Dallas District Office (EEOC), I mediated more than six thousand (6,000) cases with a settlement rate of eighty (80) percent. The cases were employment related and covered by Title VII, ADEA, EPA, ADA and Gina, several of the Cases were complexed and required an in-depth knowledge of the statutes relevant to each case. I trained Associate Mediators in the mediation process and encouraged them to be thorough and to remain neutral while negotiating each case. I am committed to enforcing the civil rights and labor laws and serving as an advocate for those in need of a third party neutral.
I have more than thirty-five (35) years of experience with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (Dallas District Office) Dallas, Texas. I served as a Mediator for the last nineteen (19) years with EEOC while leading the office in resolutions. I have a broad knowledge base in employment and labor law thru the mediation process, I have mediated more than six thousand (6000) cases with a success rate of eighty (80) percent settlement rate. He was a Federal Investigator for more than sixteen (16), with EEOC and that knowledge and understanding of the statutes i. e. Title VII, ADEA, ADA, EPA and GINA enforced by EEOC gives me a unique understanding of the employment laws, and enhances my ability to mediate in an efficient manner. I, also have experience with Automotive Arbitration regarding the different states lemon laws covering warranties on automobiles. I provided training to Associate Mediators and mentored them to become proficient in their craft.
