I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, dedicated to providing compassionate and supportive counseling and psychotherapy for my clients. I work with individuals for both short term counseling and longer term depth psychotherapy.
As a couples counselor, I provide counseling services for couples dealing with a wide variety of relationship issues, including couples struggling with high conflict or trying to recover from an infidelity. I also help parents resolve issues or conflicts around their parenting, and develop skills in dealing effectively with their children.
I work with divorced or divorcing couples to help them mediate their divorce, set up fair and helpful parenting plans, and learn to work together through co-parenting counseling to become an effective parenting team for their children. Although, as a therapist-mediator, I am unable to file for the couples I work with, I can prepare a final agreement ready to sign, have notarized and submit to the Court, and guide my clients through the entire process at far less cost than working through attorneys.
I am also the author of "Divorcing Peacefully: Why It's Essential and How To Do It" - Essential reading for anybody going through, recovering from, or considering divorce. Available at www.DivorcingPeacefully.com
