Description of Practice
For nearly 30 years, Ms. Wagner has been engaged as a civil litigation trial attorney in federal and state courts, and ADR forums. Ms. Wagner’s practice focuses on matters involving employment, entertainment, intellectual property, business and real estate litigation. In 2003, Ms. Wagner expanded her practice to include mediation and arbitration services. Over the past decade, Eve Wagner has mediated hundreds of cases involving a wide range of matters, ranging from simple to multi-party, complex matters. Ms. Wagner offers both private mediation, as well as mediation services through the mediation panel of the U.S. District Court (Central District of Calif). Ms. Wagner also serves an arbitrator for NAM and IFTA.
Ms. Wagner formed Sauer & Wagner LLP in 1997. Prior to forming her own firm, Ms. Wagner was an equity partner at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Macthinger. Ms. Wagner also served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. William P. Gray, U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Ms. Wagner is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Wagner has been included as one of the Southern California Super Lawyers in Los Angeles Magazine for several years
Over the ten years, Ms. Wagner has mediated hundreds of cases involving a wide range of matters, ranging from simple to multi-party, complex matters. Ms. Wagner's mediation pratice includes disputes involving employment (including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage and hour), entertainment and intellectual property (including copyright infringement, theft of ideas, breach of express and implied contracts, third party participation disputes and accounting claims), real estate and landlord/tenant (including breach of lease, breach of purchase and sale agreements, fraud, quiet title, specific performance, mold exposure, wrongful eviction, construction, and other disputes involving commercial and residential properties), business disputes, legal malpractice, civil rights and Unruh Act violations and negligence (including premises liability). Ms. Wagner offers both private mediation, as well as mediation services through the mediation panel of the U.S. District Court (Central District of Calif).
Ms. Wagner is an Order of the Coif graduate of the USC Gould School of Law (J.D., 1986), Recipient, American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law; Member, University of Southern California Law Review, 1985-1986. Author: "Heckling: A Protected Right or Disorderly Conduct?" 60 Southern California Law Review 215, 1986. Ms. Wagner was admitted to the California State Bar in 1986.

Ms. Wagner’s mediation style emphasizes common sense, communication skills and the ability to solve difficult problems with practical solutions. Ms. Wagner uses both the evaluative and facilitative styles of mediation.
Ms. Wagner currently charges $450 per hour. Half and full day rates are also available. In addition, due to the closure of the LASC ADR program, discounted rates are available in certain cases.
