Description of Practice

As a family law practitioner for over 40 years, I have extensive experience with the issues facing divorcing families and have witnessed the toll that litigation often takes. I believe that mediation and collaborative practice representation in family law matters provides far healthier and more durable results for the family.

Professional Background

Member, State Bar of California and Fresno County Bar Association since 1976. Past chairman of Fresno County Bar Association Family Law Section. Practice devoted to primarily to family law and related matters for over thirty years. Certified as a specialist in family law by the California Board of Legal Specialization since 1996. Maintain an AV Peer-Reviewed Rating with Martindale-Hubbell.


Practitioner of collaborative divorce/collaborative law since 2002. Founding member and president (2002-2009) of Central Valley Collaborative Law Affiliates. Training and skill development includes over 100 hours of mediation training and over 90 hours collaborative practice training. A 2012 recipient of the "Eureka Award" by CP Cal for extraordinary contributions to the advancement of collaborative practice in California.

I charge $300.00 per hour for my services as a mediator.
