Description of Practice
Neil Groberg, Attorney at Law, provides mediation, arbitration, facilitation, teaching, training, and independent harassment investigations in Vermont, throughout the Northeast and beyond! Employers and employees, businesses, aggrieved individuals and others rely on Neil and the almost 40 years of experience he brings to the table.
Professional Background
Neil graduated from the Wharton School University of Pennsylvania and Hofstra University School of Law, and enhanced his formal education by,i.e., completing a Mediation Certificate course by the University of Connecticut Labor Education Center and two Executive Leadership courses. Also, after completing its intensive training program, he is a certified Better Business Bureau arbitrator. Completed the Alliance for Education in Dispute Resolution and Cornell's intensive Employment Arbitrator Training Program and U.S. Post Office's Redress mediation training. After the legally required training at the law's inception and with an updated course in 2012, Neil was qualified to mediate foreclosure actions in Vermont.
Still, his education came not with a big law firm, but from working hand-in-hand with executives, supervisors, human resources professionals and employees on complicated and often emotional employment issues.
Experience
Mediations have included private mediations and mediating on behalf of the EEOC, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Connecticut Bar Association and the State of CT and one of its major unions.

Approach
The approach will vary depending on the facts and circumstances of the matter and can include evaluative, facilitative and transformative mediation, specifically or a combination of all at a mediation.
Fees
Subject to discussion and adjusted to specific request and applicable community rates - 4 hour minimum one week cancellation fee of 4 hours
Other Information
Active and dedicated to the community, Neil has served on many nonprofit boards, and was most recently the Chair of the Vermont Regional Committee of the Board of the DREAM Program, a youth based mentoring organization operating in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Vermont. He is admitted to practice in Vermont, Connecticut and New York. He is currently the co-chair of the Vermont Bar Association Dispute Resolution Committee.
