She is a certified family law mediator with Washington Mediation Association, and a member of Association for Conflict Resolution, Washington Mediation Association, and Clark County Association of Mediators. Her philosophy of practice is to resolve legal issues at the lowest level of conflict.

Prior to law school, Meredith taught Rhetoric and Composition courses for eight years as an adjunct professor at various universities. In addition, she directed the Legal Writing Workshop Program at Rutgers University-S.I. Newhouse School of Law, Newark, NJ.

Meredith also worked in the financial services industry in the State of New Jersey as a licensed insurance producer, then sales manager, then underwriter and held life, health, disability, property and casualty insurance licenses, along with the NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses. She is experienced in financial and estate planning.

Meredith has published a chapter in *Contested Landscape: Wilderness Policy in Utah and the West* (University of Utah Press, 1999), and in The Bencher magazine, a publication of American Inns of Court.

She is an active member of Association for Conflict Resolution (member of Family and Spirituality Sections), a member of Washington Mediation Association, and a Certified Family Law Mediator with Washington Mediation Association (since 2009). She was appointed to the Board of Washington Mediation Association in April, 2016.

Facilitative. Generally, people come to me because they want to resolve their legal issues and want to do it peacefully and without a large cost. Most of my clients are not interested in a transformative experience in mediation. They just want to "get it done." I follow Stuart Webb's philosophy of being a facilitator of the conversation between the mediating participants. I am committed to the process of providing and maintaining a safe and respectful space where differing views can be aired with no fear and conflicts resolved, where settlement is the goal of the mediating parties.

Our hourly rate for mediation services is $200/hour. When staff members perform substantive work in a mediation case, they are billed at the usual hourly rates for their roles in the firm.
