Teresa Parnell

Dr. Parnell has over 30 years of experience as a mental health professional with a focus on families. She is a Licensed Psychologist, Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator (Appellate, Circuit, County, Dependency, and Family), Accredited Collaborative Professional, and a Certified Addictions Professional. In her private practice in Maitland, Florida she enjoys helping clients transform through the challenges and conflicts they face. After many years of practice providing a range of services, she now spends her professional time as a mediator, neutral process facilitator in Collaborative family law cases, a co-parenting consultant and Collaborative process trainer. Since some families are unable to access the Collaborative process due to financial limitations, Dr. Parnell has been involved in several projects to provide Collaborative services to low and moderate income families.


Dr. Parnell received her B.A. in 1984 from Flagler College and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology in 1988 from the University of Central Florida. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1990 from the Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Parnell also completed her M.A. in Conflict Resolution in 2020 from Dominican University.
