Phyllis Pollack, President of PGP Mediation, became a mediator in the state of California in January of 2000. She has mediated over 450 cases ,and provides services both privately and to the Los Angeles Superior Court, U. S. District Court, and the First and Second District Court of Appeal in California
After more than 30 years as a senior attorney, Phyllis now devotes her time to providing mediation services. During her legal tenure she learned first-hand that many disputes would have been better resolved through some form of alternative dispute resolution process rather than litigation.
Phyllis is the Chair of the Professional Development Committee, a board member and President-elect of the Southern California Mediation Association.
Phyllis specializes in lemon law disputes but also handles a wide variety of business, commercial, employment, real estate and tort matters.
Phyllis Pollack with PGP Mediation uses a facilitative, interest-based but pragmatic approach. Her preferred mediation style is facilitative in the belief that the best and most durable resolutions are those achieved by the parties themselves.
Phyllis’ fees are flexible. While her hourly rate is usually $350/hr, she takes into the consideration the nature of the dispute and the amount at issue in negotiating fees. Insuring access to mediation is important to Phyllis.
