Charles Cain

Chip Cain is a Rule 31 listed mediator for general civil and domestic cases. Mr. Cain maintains an active litigation practice, in addition to his mediation practice. He has extensive litigation experience in contract cases, business and partnership disputes, employment cases, personal injury cases and general civil disputes. Mr. Cain also has extensive experience in divorce financial matters, and specifically including the division of retirement assets. Mr. Cain’s mediation practice includes all of those areas, in addition to other general civil cases and divorce cases.

Chip Cain has a broad range of litigation experience in both the state and federal courts of Tennessee. Although a significant portion of his litigation practice involves contract disputes, business disputes, and employment matters, his experience also includes fiduciary duty claims, personal injury claims, residential construction cases, mortgage-related cases, Tennessee Consumer Protection Act claims, and various other civil cases. In addition, Mr. Cain has particular experience in financial issues related to divorce cases (and specifically the division of retirement assets).
