New and sometimes unexpected seasons can welcome needed change.
I offer encrypted virtual mediation services to couples, ex-spouses, and parents facing family disputes. I also offer in-person mediations to those located in central Illinois. I do NOT offer legal advice nor mental health services.
Selecting a mediator should feel right. I provide a free 30 minute pre-mediation meeting with both individuals present.
I own Ragen Mediation, LLC. Prior to dedicating my career to mediation and forming Ragen Mediation, LLC., I was a practicing attorney in Illinois for 7 years. I practiced family law in Illinois for over 3 years during that time.
I have experience providing both in-person and virtual mediations. I completed my basic 40-hour mediation training through the Illinois State Bar Association, and an additional 20-hour advanced training through Dispute Resolution Institute, Inc. This additional 20-hour training focused on family law mediations and mediating via virtual platforms.
My approach is facilitative and strengths-based. I bring warmth, curiosity and creativity to each mediation. My goal is to create an atmosphere that inspires the participants to work toward an agreement that best suits their family’s unique needs.
I earned a JD in 2014 from UIC Law (formerly known as the The John Marshall Law School).
Prior to law school, I earned a BA in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I graduated magna cum laude and with highest distinction.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Aurora University.
Ragen Mediation, LLC’s rate for mediation services, whether virtual or in-person, is $150/hour. Sliding scale options are available for those who qualify.
