With 15 years of experience in family therapy, law and mediation, Tamara Hirsch has helped hundreds of families through the divorce process. For Tamara, divorce mediation is a natural way to combine her unique professional backgrounds in law and counseling and her lifelong dedication to helping people communicate and negotiate through conflict.
Tamara received her undergraduate degree with honors in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, and then completed a year-long AmeriCorps program in conflict resolution. She obtained dual law and social work degrees from Boston College Law School and Boston College Graduate School of Social work. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, and is a licensed New York therapist. Tamara is a certified divorce mediator who has completed advanced divorce mediation trainings with Boston’s Mediation Works Incorporated and The New York Center for Interpersonal Development. Tamara is a member of Brooklyn Divorce Professionals, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and the Massachusetts State Bar.
