Divorce With Respect Week A week of education and support for individuals contemplating divorce in Connecticut.
A week of education and support for individuals contemplating divorce in Connecticut.
Divorce can be one of the most devastating events that someone will experience in their life. The Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce (“CCND”) believes there is a better way to divorce, that allows a couple to transition their family through the process in dignified and respectful way, which preserves their assets and most importantly, protects their children.
September 12-16, 2022, will be Divorce With Respect Week in Connecticut. Mediators and Collaborative Divorce professionals throughout Connecticut will be hosting a series of events, including a feature on the well-known Divorce and Beyond podcast, hosted by Susan Guthrie, hosting CCND’s continuing series on Community Forum, a local, Comcast program, participating in live events, and offering a free, 30-minute consultation to individuals contemplating divorce. During these free events and consultations, divorce professionals will explain how the process can be managed respectfully, and without going to court. The consultation creates no obligation to hire that professional or initiate divorce proceedings. It is an informational meeting only, designed to help individuals learn about no-court options and how to manage divorce with respect and dignity.
