O’Connell is a Tennessee Supreme Court Listed Mediator, holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University’s Institute of Conflict Management, and is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has spoken for organizations on the subject of negotiation and mediation and regularly volunteers with the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center, providing free mediation services.
