Ole Amundsen runs a successful consulting practice in land conservation based in Ithaca, NY. Before starting his consulting practice, Mr. Amundsen was the Assistant Director for Land Policy for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (EOEA), serving as the principle liaison between EOEA and the land trust community, negotiating high profile land conservation transactions. Prior to joining EOEA, Mr. Amundsen was a conservation planner with Sudbury Valley Trustees, a regional land trust in Massachusetts. Mr. Amundsen has also worked for the Environmental Protection Agency writing regulations, under the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, on reducing ozone-depleting chemicals, and worked as a contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE) on the environmental cleanup operations at DOE nuclear weapon facilities across the country.
