Lori Frank has worked in the non-profit sector for over 25 years. She hasbeen invited to the table in family homes, community organizations, indigenous communities, schools and government offices. When families and professionals are looking for someone to bring a high level of empathy, understanding, problem solving and conflict resolution they call me. It is not a privilege she takes lightly and is humbled by what she continues to learn from others.
She is a qualified Family Dispute Resolution Professional under the BC Family Law Act. She is on the Mediate BC Family Roster. She also holds the certification of Qualified Mediator through the ADR Institute of Canada. She did her mediation training at the Justice Institute of BC and previous to that completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at McMaster University. She has also done coursework in Child and Youth Work at Humber College and counselling courses at the Counsellor Training Institute (now the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training.)
Raised in Ontario, she moved to Victoria 19 years ago. The coast is now her home and she can't imagine living anywhere else. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in this beautiful little part of the world.
