Rev Joyce P Brandon Dugger serves as Protestant Chaplain for students, faculty and staff members at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York and served as Pastor of Young Adults Ministry at Community United Methodist Church, Massapequa, Long Island. She is a former Public School crisis intervention teacher serving as a certified Peer Mediator in Districts 19 and 21 in Brooklyn, NY. She has facilitated peer mediation, conflict/resolution session in middle school, high school and faith based settings for the past ten years. She holds Masters’ Degree from Audrey Cohen College in Public Administration, Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in NYC, educational course work from Long Island University and St Rose College. In addition, she is certified as a biblical life Coach for Dream Mentors International, member of the Women in Ministry of State of NY, Co –author of “How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking”.
