David A. Hubbard, J.D. is the Director of the Conciliation Court for Douglas County District Court in Omaha, Nebraska. As Director, Hubbard coaches, facilitates, mediates, and negotiates complex parenting plans and modifications. Additionally, Hubbard teaches advanced mediator workshops and parenting education classes and provides restorative justice processes for Douglas County District Court’s Young Adult Court and Veteran’s Treatment Court.
Previously, from 2005 to 2017, Hubbard served as the Director of Facilitation and Training at The Mediation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. He has been an educator for the Werner Institute at Creighton Law School, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the Nebraska Supreme Court’s Office of Dispute Resolution, and the Nebraska Mediation Association. In addition, during this time, Hubbard team-taught mediation and later also taught family mediation as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska College of Law.
