Lenton Aikins

Lenton Aikins Dr. Lenton Aikins is a full-time mediator in the Los Angeles area. He mediates employment, real estate contract issues, primarily in Southern California. His background includes assistant professor at a California State University, dean at a community college, Charter President of Academic Booster Club at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, founder of the academic booster movement in California, real estate broker and owner of two real estate offices in Orange County, establishing and writing the curriculum for a real estate corresponding school and Adjunct Professor of Business Law. From 1991 to 2016, he litigated real estate and business issues, sued public and private entities for police misconduct, sexual harassment and other discriminatory practices and labor law violations. Some of his published cases established new law in the area of whistle blowing and exhaustion, including Williams v. Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles(2004) 121 Cal.App.4th 708; Gardenhire v. Los Angeles Housing Authority(2000) 85 Cal.App.236 and De Tie v. Orange County Sheriff Dept.,(1998, 9th Cir.) 152 F.3d 1109
