In a recent episode of “Resolutions: A Podcast about Dispute Resolution and Prevention,” JAMS Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Mark Smalls speaks with host Kimberly A. Cook about the increasing focus on DEI in the ADR industry and the important role DEI plays in the dispute resolution process. Mr. Smalls also speaks to how companies and organizations should think about DEI when connecting with recruits and clients, the steps companies must take to move the needle when it comes to their own DEI goals and the impact of technology in driving DEI efforts forward.

Biography


Mark Smalls oversees marketing and communications strategy globally and provides leadership to the managers tasked with business development responsibilities. His extensive marketing background includes advertising, branding, market research, public relations, website development and online marketing. Smalls currently chairs the JAMS Diversity Committee and serves on the JAMS Foundation board.  The JAMS Foundation is the largest and most long-standing private funder of conflict prevention and dispute resolution initiatives in the U.S. and around the world.  He is also the Orange County Chapter President of the CMO Club, a global network of engaged CMOs helping each other solve challenges in a candid and trustworthy environment.
