Review: The Dynamic Web Site Package

by Jon Linden
December 2002 Jon Linden
It has long been known in the mediation industry that, if you need a web site and don’t want to design it yourself or pay someone the big bucks to do it for you, the best place to turn is The Dynamic Web Site Package offers site owners the most advanced and flexible web site design, development and maintenance system that I am aware of in the ADR industry (or anywhere else for that matter). This system is robust, well designed, easy to use and has virtually infinite flexibility.

Those at have not rested on their well-earned laurels. With a number of new available free designs (now 66 free designs available) and their new “WYSIWYG” editor, everyone should take a fresh look at what has to offer. Included is a complete package of the services that you need to be effective on the Internet, including a fully scalable web site (any number of pages), email address, weekly web site statistics, registration, training, support and a Locate A Mediator listing on the site.

Enter the WYSIWYG Screen Editor. “WYSIWYG” or “What You See Is What You Get” allows the most intricate self-editing control for the web site subscriber. In essence, the Dynamic Web Site now allows you to go into your web pages and edit them or create new pages with software that is comparable to MS-Word or WordPerfect. Any person familiar with word processing experience can intuitively use the editor without special instruction. Nonetheless, provides a complete tutorial at that takes the site owner through the functions and the manner in which they can utilize them in enhancing and personalizing their web site. also offers free training (about 15 minutes) and ongoing technical support, with the whole package only $50/month with no long-term contract.

Features such as cut, copy, paste, bullets, justification options, indent, underlining, bold and italics are readily available. Insertion of tables, images, links and “print this page” is trivial to accomplish. A full font set is included along with control over size, color, etc. And, of course, there is the forgiving “undo” command. Best of all, the changes that you make in the editor are exactly what the public sees when you “submit” your site. You can easily toggle back and forth between your administrative web site Control Panel and your public site.

The new Dynamic Web Site is fully scalable (you can have as many pages and as many levels as desired). With the new dual pop up and text link navigation systems, visitors are easily able to find your information. In that you can have as many pages as desired, it makes sense to construct a number of well-organized shorter pages so that visitors can easily navigate to desired information (rather than long pages that require lots of scrolling). This web site system’s “path display” function allows visitors to always know exactly where they are in your web site. The system also makes it easy for you to complete effective “Meta” field information that allows search engines to most capably find your site and catalog your information.

While the new WYSIWYG editor renders moot complicated HTML code changes, if only for ‘techie’s’ the Dynamic Web Site package also allows direct access to your HTML code. With the ease of the WYSIWYG editor, however, there is really no reason to even know what “HTML” means!

This is a remarkably versatile product and clearly the web site of choice for mediation, ADR and legal professionals and organizations. You may locate your web site at or at your own domain. is now also offering this same web site technology to attorneys at For organizations, compatible online directory and content management systems are also offered.
