Editorial Notes on Youth Mediation Future

In Celebration of our 20th Year, announces The Mediation Futures Project.

This project will be examining the past, present, and future of the mediation field from a variety of viewpoints.

This article examines the youth sector of mediation. Youth mediation can cover special education, restoriative justice, peer mediation, and parent/child mediation.

As feedback, articles, videos, and thoughts come in about this section they will be synthesized on this page.

Clare Fowler, Managing Editor at, received her Master's of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law and her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, focused on reducing workplace conflicts, from Pepperdine University School of Education. Clare also coordinated the career development program for The Straus Institute dispute resolution students. In addition to her editorial duties at, Clare coordinates online case management for ADR programs, agencies and courts.
