 Dr. Aikins is based in Los Angeles County, California. Dr. Aikins fees are $6500.00 daily for mediating Employment Law & Civil Rights Cases up to ten hours spent in reviewing materials submitted and mediating, commencing usually at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All day mediations include a working lunch where each side is offered lunch during the mediation. One half-day mediation is $3500.00, commencing at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 2:00 p.m. or commencing at 2:00 p.m. and concluding at 6:00 p.m.  Additional hours spent in mediation is $650.00 per hour. (More than one plaintiff and/or defendant per side, add $1500.00 per day or or $750.00 per 1/2 day and $700.00 per hour. ) 


For Personal Injury and all other cases, Dr. Aikins fees are $4500.00 dailyand all other cases up to ten hours spent in reviewing materials submitted and mediating, commencing usually at 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All day mediations include a working lunch. One-half day mediation for Personal Injury and all other cases is $2500.00. Additional hours spent in Personal Injury and all other cases are billed at $450.00 per hour. Usually, the fees are split 1/2 per side. Multiple parties (more than one plaintiff and/or more than one defendant, add $1000.00 per day or $550.00 for 1/2 day and $550.00 per hour for any additional hours.)

 Fees are subject to change without notice. Dr. Aikins does not charge extra for mediating cases outside of Los Angeles, Orange Counties and the City of Riverside, but will only mediate full days outside of Los Angeles, Orange Counties and the City of Riverside. Otherwise, he will not mediate cases in other locations on a one-half day basis other than noted above. 

He will mediate anywhere in California. However, if he has to make arrangements for facilities where mediation is to be held outside of Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Diego additional charges may apply for securing facilities if the parties can not host the mediation. Mediations are rouitinely held Downtown Los Angeles at 725 S. Figueroa Street, Suite 400  and other locations mutually agreed upon by the parties. Also, mediations in San Diego are usually held downtown San Diego in the Regus facility. 

If the parties agree to pay for a full-day's mediation and the mediation is successfully concluded prior to the full-day, no adjustments for any time expended less than a full day will be made in any case.
