The World Mediation Forum is a world-wide umbrella organization uniting mediators and conflict resolution practitioners from all regions and countries through networking, research and global communication. Our mission is to fill in the gaps in knowledge generation and dissemination about mediation in the world, and to instill a culture of mediation and conflict resolution in every community, region and nation. We support practitioners, academics, trainers, community leaders and governments in networking, sharing best practices, staying abreast of the latest research, and strengthening their local conflict resolution capacities. We are not based in any one country and we do not replicate what other organizations are doing – we accomplish our objectives by tying together existing efforts around the world through networking, providing access to information, knowledge and research, regional forums and partnerships, and through our international conferences.
