The Parent Council is seeking advice in underwriting for upcoming events.  Do you have experience contacting businesses for sponsorships?  Have you organized a community event that local businesses helped support?  The Parent Council is excited about our upcoming events, but to make these successful, we need your help!  We would like to learn from you and would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer!

Please contact Ashleigh in the office or Parent council chair, Heather Cyrus: cyrus@uoregon.edu

When you register your credit/debit cards with this tried-and-true program, 2-4 % of your purchase cost at Market of Choice (and other participating merchants) automatically goes directly to the organization/school of your choice—Nearby Nature! This is an easy way to support Nearby Nature financially without donating any money directly. If you are interested, visit www.escrip.com. Be sure to use Nearby Nature's Group # 500004201 when you sign up. And if you are already signed up for another group or school, don't worry. eScrip can split your donation up to three ways. Note: eScrip does not pass on Safeway contributions to non-profits, so if you already support a school, all of your Safeway contributions will still go to the school. Pass the word along to friends!
