Anyone can become angry. That is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose, and in the right way...that is not easy.

WHY ARE YOU SO ANGRY?
Anger is a major problem in our technologically advanced society. Although an appropriate emotion, inappropriate responses to anger may lead to violence, destruction, and criminal activity. The ability to control one's response to anger requires skill and training.
As a Certified Anger Management Facilitator (CAMF), Dr. Victoria D. Coleman is capable of providing a variety of anger management programs utilizing the Anderson & Anderson Model of Anger Management.
The largest provider of CAMF training, Anderson & Anderson is the global leader and first provider of anger management resources. Available in English, Spanish, and Italian, the Anderson Model consists of curricula for adolescents, adults, and executives, and is the most widely utilized in the world. The Model is used in the United States, Canada, Guam, South Africa, Bermuda, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, England, the Philippines, and Italy.
The Anderson Model of Anger Management is currently utilized by probation departments, courts, Fortune 500 corporations, education, corrections, hospitals, law enforcement, and government, to name a few. The Model focuses on four areas: Communication, Anger Management, Stress Management, and Emotional Intelligence (CASE).
The Anderson curriculum was also used in the movie Anger Management,starring Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler, and Marisa Tomei.
A signficant component of anger management is the assessment of competency and functioning. The Conover Assessment utilizes a pre/post-test methodology to determine six areas of competence:
Interpersonal Assertion;
Interpersonal Aggression;
Interpersonal Deference;
Empathy;
Stress Management; and
Change Orientation.
The Conover Assessment provides a benchmark from which to initiate an anger management program.
