Next Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008 in New York City
v Add another valuable tool as a consultant, trainer, facilitator, or coach
v Understand conflict, how it develops, hot buttons, and specific conflict behaviors
v Learn and practice coaching skills to give CDP feedback
v Identify skills to develop leaders and managers as productive conflict managers
v Discover the strategic value of the CDP for organizations that develop a conflict competent workforce
The Leadership Development Center at Eckerd College has developed a psychometrically sound multi-rater (360°) assessment tool that helps leaders, managers and teams develop conflict competence. Unlike other conflict assessments, the CDP assesses specific behaviors and offers action plans to develop constructive conflict behaviors for productive conflict engagement.
Florida’s Eckerd College is a 25-year network associate of the Center for Creative Leadership which has adopted the CDP for use in their Foundations for Leadership Program. Certified CDP users can administer the CDP to work with individuals, teams, and organizations. An individual online CDP can also be used for team building and training at all levels in an organization.
Workshop content: The Conflict Dynamics Profile® Certification Workshop prepares participants to use the CDP in their professional practice. Participants explore conflict, conflict stages, hot buttons, specific conflict behaviors, conflict behavior analysis, coaching skills to offer feedback, and individual and organizational constructive conflict engagement and collaboration.
