Juvenile Court Mediation Training

 

Participants learn juvenile court concepts of mediation and practice mediating in a observed number of role-plays. Content includes juvenile court offenses, what gets mediated, stages of child development, child abuse, language use for juveniles, interpersonal family dynamics, ethics, common interests in juvenile court cases, agreement writing, and limits and responsibilities of the mediator. Requirement: Completion of  Basic Mediation Training and experience mediating.
