Richard Morley Barron Mediation

About Richard > Fees

Fees

My fee is $90/hour per party(ie. per attorney) if two parties, $80/hour per party if three parties and $70/hr per party if four parties, for all time spent preparing for, conducting, and following-up on a mediation.  The parties may unanimously agree to another allocation of my total fee.   I am also willing to set a daily flat rate where desired and appropriate.  Most lawsuits are resolved at a mediation lasting less than a day.  I normally do not charge for travel time

Clients are responsible for required out-of-pocket expenses, if any.  A deposit is required from each party at the time I am formally retained.

It is important to remember the virtually certain warranty of any mediation agreement is that it will end the dispute, avoid further stress and disruption, save the parties money and eliminate the risk and delay of litigation.

Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
