Mediation and Conflict Resolution Training
Nina Meierding provides a variety of mediation and conflict resolution trainings.
Family Mediation Training
Nina's forty hour family mediation programs have been approved by the Academy of Family Mediators and the merged Association for Conflict Resolution. She has presented these program in Idaho, New Mexico, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, California, and Nevada to individuals, court referred panels, judges, and law school students. She works closely with the state providers to insure that her programs include local and state needs and interests and her courses have been approved by many court programs that require certified mediation training. Nina also provides advanced family mediation training in many areas; including but not limited to, gender and cultural issues, breaking impasse, high conflict, ethical issues, secrets to listening, advanced communication skills, dealing with power imbalances, working with attorneys in mediation, enhancing durability of agreements, and other current topics in the field of divorce and family. Courses may be several hours to several days in duration and are customized to meet the needs of the group.
Conflict Resolution Training
Nina provides mediation, advanced mediation, and conflict resolution training to courts, school districts, corporations, medical groups, organizations, agencies, and indviduals. Training may be customized upon request and may be one day to five days in duration, with follow-up training upon request.
