Description of Practice
Mediates disputes and advanced training of mediators. In addition to resolving existing conflict John uses mediation skills to assist parties during business formation or reorganization and during estate planning to minimize future conlict. Experienced in business, construction, corporate & partnership dissolution, crisis management, environment and land use, damage claims, will and trust contests
Professional Background
BS & JD Univ San Francisco. Some prior positions: Board Chair Community Bank; Fellow American College of Trust & Estate Counsel; Member executive committee Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law Section California State Bar; President Humboldt County Bar Assoc. EVP & General Counsel private holding company.
Experience
Over 15 years mediating varied conflict and assisting partners & shareholders become better able to work together. Also assisting Estate Planners and their clients to better understand the needs and interests of the clients and their heirs. Complex matters are usually co-mediated with a person having a different background.
Approach

Fees
$250 per hour plus a one time administrative fee. Meetings in my facility or the clients'. No charge for travel time anywhere, only actual travel expense.

Initial interview is without charge. All participants must agree to a very high degree of confidentiality.
