Description of Practice

Since 1995, Ms. Martin has mediated business, employment, organizational, family and civil disputes, conducted hundreds of dispute resolution trainings, and been a consultant to ADR programs in the United States and abroad.

Dawn Martin provides mediation, facilitation, training and system design services in the United States and abroad. J.D. Catholic University of America Law School, 1986. Bar memberships: DC, MD and PA.

Experience

She began her mediation practice in 1979 with the District of Columbia Mediation Service where she served as mediator/administrator for five years after which she practiced law for ten years. In 1996, she returned to the dispute resolution field. At present, she specializes in conflict management, facilitation, climate assessments and cultural change within public sector, private sector and nonprofit organizations.

Trained as a facilitative mediator in 1979, Dawn continues to be grounded in the facilitative model while incoporating transformative approaches into her practice.

$250/hour for private mediation services. $185/hour for public sector mediation and consulting. $1,500/day for training.
