Description of Practice

My law practice consists of business, commercial and probate litigation, and employment law and litigation, in approximately equal portions. I practice both before courts and before arbitrators and arbitration panels. I have been co-counsel in complex class actions. As an arbitrator, I have heard consumer, title insurance, employment discrimination (gender, age, race, disability, national origin), FMLA, breach of employment contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and medical malpractice cases, both as a single arbitrator and as a member of three arbitrator panels. As a mediator, I have mediated wage and hour, employment discrimination, breach of lease, and breach of construction contract cases. I have advised arbitration hearing panels as counsel for a local chapter of the National Association of Realtors.
