Description of Practice
I am the current President of the Indiana Association of Mediators.
Professional Background
Mary Hoeller is a nurse attorney with over 25 years litigating case in the State and Federal Courts in Indiana. In 2001, looking to return to her roots of passionately caring for the sick and elderly, Mary trained in Elder Law with a specialty in Eldercare Mediation. As a trained family mediator, Mary's goal is to assist divorcing couples from the onset and prevent the negative impact of conflict on the children and other family members. When parents arrive at their own agreements, they are more often followed with less stress on the children. Mary handlees all aspects of divorce, including child custody, parenting time and support.
Approach
Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, we all have the capacity to "get back home to Kansas" if we would only use our ruby slippers. As a mediator, I facilitate the parties' in mutual understanding of issues and goals for workable, liveable agreements.
Fees
Both parties are expected to pay one half of the set hourly rate before the mediation session begins, unless different payment arrangements are agreed to. The payments are made at time of service with fees for cancelation of appointments.
