Description of Practice

I am a Certified Family and Divorce Mediator. It is my mission to help individuals find effective resolutions to their dispute through mediation. Mediation is a flexible dispute resolution process that can be used to resolve virtually any type of dispute. Because Mediation is non-adversarial, it also allows parties to achieve a 'win-win' situation. I receive many calls from individuals who simply ask, “Do I need an attorney to get divorced?” The answer is NO. There is no law anywhere that requires you to hire an attorney at any point in your divorce, not even for filing your decree. Reasons to mediate: You want what’s best for your children, number one reason to mediate in terms of timesharing and child support, you want to keep things peaceful, cost effective, and you don’t want to drag divorce proceedings out. If you feel that mediation is right for your situation, call or email to schedule your free consultation.
